Sunday can’t come quick enough for first round draftee Clay Smith after being named for his debut game against the Eagles at Etihad Stadium.

The hard-nut hasn’t looked out of place since arriving at the Club in November and it appears he is hell-bent on staying at the Kennel for a while yet with his uncompromising approach to his football.

Smith has thrown everything into his training over the past few months, mixing it with club stalwarts and proven ball-winners like Matthew Boyd and Daniel Cross in contested ball and endurance drills.

Smith could hardly contain his excitement of being picked for his first senior game when he spoke to BulldogsTV.
