Western Bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore will remain at the Club until the end of 2016, after signing a three year contract extension.
 
A key member of an emerging midfield, Liberatore has had an outstanding season in 2013, leading the competition in clearances and averaging 25 possessions per game in just his third season in the AFL.

“We see Tom as an important part of our midfield and look forward to seeing him continue to develop and grow at the Western Bulldogs,“ List Manager Jason McCartney said.
 
“Tom has had an impressive first 50 games, and is becoming a more balanced player as he continues to gain more experience.”
 
“He has a rich family history here at our Club, and we are pleased he can continue that over the next three years at least.”

Liberatore said he was excited about the Club’s future direction and was committed to helping the team he grew up supporting rise up the ranks.
 
“It has been a dream to play at a Club I love and alongside my mates for the past three years,” Liberatore said.
 
“I look forward to contributing to the team as best as I can over the next three years, and being part of an exciting journey at the Western Bulldogs.”
 
The 21-year-old was drafted at pick 44 in the 2010 national draft and debuted in Round 1 the following year.
