AFL women’s players who missed out on an initial spot will be given a second chance in a mini draft, held on Wednesday 22 July.
The Western Bulldogs have made five list changes ahead of the second AFL Women’s Game on Sunday 16 August, making way for five new players to join the Bulldogs list.
Phoebe McWilliams (St Kilda Sharks), Jordan Zanchetta (Yeronga), Hannah Scott (Eastern Devils), Maddy Keryk (Melbourne University) and Pepa Randall (St Kilda Sharks) will all become emergencies for the second match.
As Melbourne won the first match held in May, the Bulldogs will get the first pick in the mini-draft.
The mini-draft will be broadcast via podcast on afl.com.au at 12:00pm on Wednesday.
