In 2013, Membership Services introduced an Online Fan Forum in which our members and fans provided feedback by completing online surveys sent throughout the course of the year. This, along with feedback received from phone calls and emails, has resulted in some changes to your membership for 2014.

We really value the input of our members, and encourage all members to continue sending feedback on their membership packages and entitlements.

The following updates have been made to simplify our membership products and make our processes more efficient to ensure the best service for our members:

I WANT RENEWING MY MEMBERSHIP TO BE EASY

  • To help make renewing easy, your membership will automatically be set up as a subscription product, unless you let us know you don’t want this to happen. The benefit is that your membership will automatically renew each season, making the renewal process convenient for you. Prior to your membership automatically renewing at the start of each membership season, you will be advised of adjustments, upgrade options and any other changes to give you the opportunity to amend your membership package and/or personal details.
  • Bulldog For Life monthly payment plan instalments will be divided over 10 months instead of 12 months. The last membership instalment will now be on July 28, 2014 meaning that you won’t be making payments once the season has completed and will give you a break from payments before the start of the new season.

I WANT FAMILY MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS THAT CATER FOR ALL TYPES OF FAMILY GROUPS

  • We have added an additional family membership which caters for families who have children who are no longer eligible for a junior membership. The family membership now caters for families that have two adults and two youths or two adults, one youth and one junior. This membership option makes sure families receive significant savings versus buying individual memberships.  
  • Families can now also add an extra junior or youth to their family membership at a discounted rate instead of paying the full price of a junior or youth membership.

A PRICE FREEZE WOULD BE AWESOME

  • For all members who sign up or renew their EJ Whitten Social Club add on in 2014, we will guarantee a price freeze on the Social Club add on for the next 3 years.
  • We have kept the price of the popular Dahlhaus Clubhouse memberships at $65 so juniors can continue to enjoy the great benefits of game access, member pack and special clinic.
  • We have also kept the price of our Sideline membership at $50 so those who aren’t able to attend games can still be part of the Club.

I KNOW JUNIOR FANS WHO JUST LOVES THE BULLDOGS BUT CAN’T GET TO GAMES. I NEED A MEMBERSHIP FOR THEM.

  • Towards the end of the 2013 season, we introduced a Non Game Day Dahlhaus Clubhouse membership. It gives juniors all the great benefits including a member pack but without the game day access - and all for only $25. Due to the popular demand of this membership, this will be available from the start of the membership period.

VFL CONTRIBUTION

  • You voted it back and next year we will see the Footscray Bulldogs competing in the VFL. This year as a one off, we have included a nominal contribution in membership renewals and new membership purchases to help us build the critical infrastructure we need to develop our future champions, right here at Victoria University Whitten Oval. This contribution is an investment in the development of our future players and champions - the next Liberatore, Wallis and Dahlhaus – who will help take us to glory.
