Williamstown Football Club scooped the awards pool at the JJ Liston Medal, held at Etihad Stadium.

The VFL's night of nights saw the cream of VFL talent congregate to celebrate the individual efforts of Season 2010. Williamstown's dominant home and away season saw no less than 6 players taking home individual honours.

Full Forward Matthew Little was rewarded for his sparkling season in the blue and gold by taking home the Frosty Miller Medal for the leading VFL goalkicker. Little's tally of 80 goals included 11 games of 5 goals or more and Little was more than 30 goals clear of his closest rival at the end of the home and away season.

Reserves skipper Matthew Cravino was a dominant winner of the A Todd Medal for the Best & Fairest player in the VFL Reserves Competition. Despite playing 6 games in the Senior competition, Cravino still polled 27 out of a possible 36 votes to easily take home the award, bettering his 2nd place finish from last year. Luke Cartelli was also recognised for his fine season, finishing fourth in the award.

As expected, Williamstown players were well represented in the VFL Team of the Year. Captain Brett Johnson, Vice-Captain Ben Jolley, Matt Little, Peter Faulks and Ben Davies were all selected for their dominance and consistency throughout the year. Williamstown accounted for more than 20% of the Team of the Year, with no other VFL team being represented more.

All of the previously mentioned names were expected to figure prominently in the Liston Medal voting however a Williamstown winner was looking unlikely with no Seagull player in the top 7 after 8 rounds of voting. Matthew Little polled 3 votes in consecutive games to mount a mid-season charge, however the depth of the Seagulls squad meant that votes were too evenly shared throughout the team. Matthew Little was the top Williamstown player finishing with 11 votes, closesly followed by Brett Johnson (10), Will Minson (8), Ben Davies (7) and Dylan Addison (7).
Congratulations to Stephen Clifton of North Ballarat and Shane Valenti of Port Melbourne for winning the award with 20 votes.
