Following the release of the 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season fixture, westernbulldogs.com.au has compiled this snapshot comparison at the Bulldogs’ draw for the next year in contract to last.
- The Bulldogs will play at Etihad Stadium 13 times in 2015 (10 home, three away) compared to 14 in 2014 (ten home, four away)
- The Dogs head on six interstate trips - including a home match in Cairns against Gold Coast - the same as in 2014
- Of the 2014 finalists, the Bulldogs only play Port Adelaide twice.
- The Club also plays West Coast, St Kilda, Melbourne and Brisbane twice.
- Only two Sunday twilight games have been fixtured for the Bulldogs in 2015, compared six in 2014.
- 13 Saturday games are scheduled for the Bulldogs in 2015, compared to six in 2014.
- Of the Saturday games, five are Saturday night matches. The Club only played two Saturday night matches in 2014.
- There is less Sunday football for the Bulldogs, playing eight Sunday games in 2015, compared to 16 in 2014.
- Double the matches at the MCG, playing two MCG games in 2015 compared to one last season.
- The Bulldogs play three finalists (Richmond, Hawthorn, Sydney) from the previous year in the first five rounds of 2015. The Dogs played two in the same period in 2014.
- No Friday night games for the Bulldogs, there were none in 2014 either.
- Channel Seven will screen eight Western Bulldogs live on free-to-air television in 2015. All matches will be live, and in HD on Fox Footy.
- For the 13th straight season, the Bulldogs play Carlton only once in the year, with no return fixture scheduled.
