Matthew Boyd has today been withdrawn from the Western Bulldogs extended squad named to take on Collingwood on Sunday and has been replaced in the side by Mitch Honeychurch.
The Bulldogs medical staff are taking a no risk policy with the Club veteran after he experienced some slight hamstring soreness from yesterday’s main training session.
Honeychurch comes into the side and could be in line to make his senior debut on Sunday, after being named as the match day emergency last weekend.
The diminutive forward has drawn likeness to Luke Dahlhaus in his time at the kennel and would add to the Bulldogs mosquito fleet in attack.
The Bulldogs side will be finalised on Friday at 5:00pm on westernbulldogs.com.au.
