Hayden Crozier
In his second season in red, white and blue, Hayden Crozier was impressive in defence.
The 25-year-old missed just one game for the year, through injury, averaging more than 16 disposals and six marks per game as he combined his strong rebounding and aerial abilities to great effect.
Crozier ranked second at the Bulldogs for marks and rebound-50s, going at 82.2 per cent efficiency to be the team’s most effective ball user*.
He plucked mark of the year contenders against Collingwood and Brisbane, and played his 100th AFL game in round 16.
