Eighty-six days after its opening round match in the 2020 AFL season, the Western Bulldogs will take on St Kilda in Round 2 at Marvel Stadium on Sunday, June 14.

The AFL today announced the next block of four rounds in the season which has been halted since March because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In those four games, the Bulldogs will take on the Saints, followed by GWS, Sydney and North Melbourne.

Three of the four games will be played at Marvel Stadium, with a trip to the SCG to take on the Swans in Round 4.

There’s a mixed bag when it comes to days and timeslots, with the Dogs to play a game each on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the next four rounds – all of them in the evening.

The Bulldogs’ Round 2 game will be broadcast on Fox Footy in the unusual time slot of 6.05pm, with Channel 7 to show the Club’s Round 3, 4 and 5 matches on free-to-air TV.

The AFL will continue to announce the remainder of the 2020 season in smaller blocks of games to maintain flexibility in its scheduling.
