Western Bulldogs defender Isabel Huntington has been named in the AFLW All-Australian team for the first time.
The 21-year-old was the sole representative in the 2020 team from the Bulldogs. She was named on the half back line.
Huntington’s third season in the AFLW competition was her finest, where she played five out of six games before the competition was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic
She averaged 13 disposals and five marks per game, after injuries restricted her to just five games over the previous two years.
For the fourth successive season, Bulldogs skipper Ellie Blackburn was named in the initial 40-player squad.
Blackburn is already a dual All-Australian, having made the team in the first two years of the AFLW competition.
