A week is a long time in podcasting, especially in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.
Despite needing to be physically separated for the second instalment of the refreshed Bulldogs’ podcast, Barkly Street, Bob Murphy and Marcus Bontempelli do a sterling job of navigating the technological obstacles to deliver a highly-entertaining episode.
Bob and Bont chat to each other from the isolation of their own homes via online platform Zoom, as the Coronavirus pandemic escalates. The boys still cover plenty of ground, including:
- How they’re dealing with their new living arrangements.
- How the Bont is staying fit with his home gym setup and meditation techniques (complete with a private online tour).
- Sorting through the AFL player negotiations to take a pay cut.
- Keeping in touch with team-mates using technology.
They also answer the fans’ questions, diving into hot topics like Bont’s new coffee machine, which current and former player he wouldn’t want to be in isolation with, and what the boys’ go-to TV series is at the moment.
It’s the isolation edition of Barkly Street you simply don’t want to miss!
