Izzy Huntington has been recognised for her efforts in 2020 with a spot in AFL Media’s AFLW Team of the Year.
The forward-turned-defender was one of five named in the back-line.
Huntington was named in the Team of the Week on three occasions this year, averaging 13 disposals across five matches.
The 21-year-old was also nominated for the NAB AFLW Rising Star award in Round 6, recording 15 disposals and six marks against the undefeated Fremantle.
Huntington finished the home-and-away season ranked equal-first for contested marks, and second for intercept possessions across the competition.
