A trio of AFLW Bulldogs have earned themselves coaches’ votes for their performances against Fremantle on Sunday.
Captain Ellie Blackburn and this week’s Rising Star nominee Izzy Huntington received four votes each, while Aisling McCarthy was awarded three.
Blackburn led from the front, recording 18 disposals and two goals in the 15-point loss.
McCarthy was just as dangerous around the centre, contributing with 18 disposals, nine tackles and one goal.
Huntington played an important role down back, taking six marks and notching up 15 touches.
Her efforts also saw her named in AFL Media’s Team of the Week, for the third time this season.
The Bulldogs will meet the Kangaroos at Arden Street Oval this Saturday, March 21 at 3.10pm.
