Barker-Whitten Challenge
The Barker-Whitten Challenge was named in honour of Footscray/Western Bulldogs legend the late Ted Whitten and St Kilda legend Trevor Barker, who both passed away from cancer in 1995 and 1996 respectively. The Barker-Whitten Challenge is played each year with the Barker-Whitten Plate presented to the winning side.
