Skipper Josh Prudden and key defender Lewis Young are set to return for Sunday’s clash with Sandringham at Trevor Barker Oval.
Prudden has been out for the past month through injury, while the recently re-signed Young missed last week with injury.
Experienced midfielder Mitch Wallis is out, due to an ankle injury.
Footscray sits in third spot on the VFL ladder, and enters the clash on the back of three consecutive wins against Port Melbourne, Richmond and the Casey Demons.
The Zebras are in 12th spot, but have lost their past five matches.
