In their first competitive outing for 2013, the Bulldogs will play back-to-back games in a modified format - each game will consist of two 17.5-minute halves.
The Bulldogs will face Essendon at 6:45pm, before squaring off against Collingwood at approximately 7:50pm.
Collingwood and Essendon will then do battle in the final match of the triple-header at approximately 8:55pm.
Following the success of the 2011 and 2012 NAB Cup fixtures, the AFL have again opted for the modified triple-header format in the opening round of the competition before reverting to standalone matches for round two.

Tickets for the Bulldogs first clash in 2013 are available via any Ticketmaster outlet (including Whitten Oval), online, by calling 1300 136 122, or alternatively can be purchased at Etihad Stadium on the night.
Adult tickets start from $21.35 for general admission, while a full price listing can be found at www.ticketmaster.com.au
Kids go for free: The AFL will be running a promotion for children under 15 to obtain a free general admission ticket to the NAB Cup match of their choice in Rounds 1, 2 & 3.
To claim the free ticket, customers will be required to log on to ticketmaster.com.au, phone Ticketmaster on 1300 136 122 or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.
The free junior ticket is applicable to advance sales only and will not be available on match day. Terms and conditions apply.
Bulldogs fans will also have the opportunity to buy or renew their 2013 membership or buy the newest range of Club merchandise by visiting the official Bulldogs marquee outside Etihad Stadium on game day.
Broadcast Details
All three games will be broadcast live on Fox Footy from 6:15pm AEST, while SEN 1116AM, 3AW and Triple M will also provide live radio coverage from 6:00pm AEST.

The Cheer Squad will be positioned in the same area as our home matches at Etihad Stadium (Level 1, Aisle 25). Please note you will be required to purchase a general admission ticket to enter the stadium before receiving your Cheer Squad ticket from either Gary or David. Western Bulldogs membership cards will not be able to be scanned at the gate on the night of the match.
