Jake Stringer was aggressive and team-focused on Sunday afternoon at Avalon Airport Oval, racking up nine tackles and 21 disposals to go along with a goal.  His burst from a stoppage before breaking three tackles late in the first term would have brought a smile to the face of the Bulldogs’ faithful who braved the chilly conditions.

Mitch Honeychurch continued his dominant VFL form in his return from a hamstring injury with a commanding 34 touch, seven mark, six tackles performance, while veteran Jed Adock was influential with 25 touches, five marks and a goal.

Tom Campbell and Bailey Williams were also impressive in their return games, 19-year-old Williams being named in the best.
