Access members unable to attend our home match played in Cairns against the Gold Coast SUNS in Round 17 will be provided general admission access to the Round 8 away game against Melbourne at the MCG.
This gives members the opportunity to see the Bulldogs play at the ‘G as part of their home game entitlements, and provides eight accessible matches in Melbourne to kick off the season (seven at Etihad, one at the MCG).
The Western Bulldogs will feature in more Friday and Saturday nights this season, reflecting the exciting brand of football the team played in 2015 — which will also allow our fans to experience the thrilling atmosphere that comes with the big prime time games.
The Club understands that night time footy isn’t for everyone however, and wanted to ensure the replacement game was played in a family friendly time slot — therefore making the Sunday afternoon game against Melbourne a better fit for fans who find it difficult to attend night games.
The Club has also made the effort to secure member access to the Round 8 match, which is shaping as our beloved Captain Bob Murphy’s 300th game. If all goes to plan and Bob plays the first eight games of the season, we want the Pack to gather at the MCG on May 15 to cheer on a true hero of the Western Bulldogs Football Club.
If you are yet to renew or join as a member and want to be part of the enthralling journey set up last season by Luke Beveridge and his team, now is the time to #bemorebulldog and become a member.
