The Western Bulldogs have confirmed one change to the side that defeated St.Kilda last weekend, bringing in midfielder Lin Jong for draftee Josh Dunkley to face reigning premiers Hawthorn Sunday afternoon.

Assistant Coach Daniel Giansiracusa said making changes to a winning side was difficult, but Jong’s performances for Footscray were hard to ignore.

“Jongy’s had some really good form at VFL level, as well as a couple of the guys, but when you’ve had two really strong performances like we’ve had, it’s pretty hard to change the side.

“The competitiveness for spots is great and that’s what we want the footy club to be like.”

Dunkley joins Tom Campbell and Joel Hamling as the listed emergencies for the much-anticipated clash, the Bulldogs looking to extend their winning streak at Etihad Stadium to twelve.

Jason Johannisen has been named on a wing and will play his fiftieth game for the Club on Sunday.
