The Western Bulldogs can boast a clean bill of health after Saturday’s win over Carlton, with Tom Campbell cleared from a heavy collision with the goal post.
Medical Services Manager Andrew McKenzie said the playing group have recovered well from the clash and there are no new injuries to report.
“The players have pulled up really well, Tom’s incident I think looked worse than it was and he’s fine and he will carry on all week,” McKenzie said.
Easton Wood’s return to senior football saw him collect 17 disposals, five marks, four rebound 50s and three tackles in a successful first game back.
“We are happy with Woody, he has pulled up really well, he got through the game and he was very comfortable and screened well today,” he said.
In the VFL, Jack Redpath played his first game back from a knee injury and completed the allocated game time in Williamstown’s development league without complication.
“Jack got through the game time that we set him and pulled up well – so we are happy with that and he will progress this week,” he said.
Captain Matthew Boyd is also potentially in line to return against Adelaide after enduring a calf injury last fortnight and will be observed in training this week.
“Boydy has built up well during the week and we will monitor him throughout the week and make a call later,” he said.
