Western Bulldogs ruckman Jordan Roughead will play his first game since February when he lines up for Footscray on Saturday afternoon against Port Melbourne at North Port Oval.

Roughead sustained a series hamstring injury against Melbourne in the JLC Community Series and will make his return to football in a clash shaping up as the VFL match of the round.

The Bulldogs have won their last three games after dropping their season opener against Box Hill and are now perched in the top four after last week’s come-from-behind win over Richmond.

Port Melbourne are currently undefeated and sit on top of the VFL ladder, having won their opening four games by an average of just under six goals.

Mitch Wallis, Stewart Crameri, along with Roughead lead Footscray’s AFL-listed contingent.
