Western Bulldogs’ developing ruckman Tim English will miss at least the next month of football with a foot injury.
The 20-year-old developed symptoms following Footscray’s win over Werribee on Sunday where he amassed 26 disposals and 29 hit outs.
Scans yesterday revealed some minor bone stress to one of the bones in his left foot.
English will be on light duties for the next fortnight before rebuilding his training loads.
Meanwhile, forward Tory Dickson is a chance to return to the field this week after missing the last four weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered in the Round 5 loss to Fremantle.
20-year-old defender Brad Lynch is also nearing a return to playing after he suffered a hamstring injury in Round 2 of the VFL on April 14.
Lynch is set to ramp up his training this week and is scheduled to reintegrate into full training from next week.
First-year defender Aaron Naughton is progressing well and has resumed running, but still remains at least 1-2 weeks away from returning from the ankle injury he sustained against Brisbane in Round 8.
