The AFL has today released the pools and match schedules ahead of the historic AFLX tournament in February.
The Dogs have been named in Pool B and will take on the Sydney Swans at 4.38pm and the Gold Coast Suns at 5.34pm Allianz Stadium on Saturday, 17th February ,with the GWS Giants, Richmond and Brisbane make up Pool A.
The winners of each pool will face off in a Grand Final at 7.03pm the same night.
Adelaide and Melbourne will also host individual tournaments with the remaining 12 clubs split across the two cities, on Thursday, 15 February and Friday, 16 February respectively.
AFLX is a new and different version of Australian Football and has been designed to take the traditional game from oval grounds to rectangular fields.
AFLX will contain and showcase the unique and most thrilling aspects of Australian Football in a shortened format, with seven players on the field and three on the bench.
