Western Bulldogs star midfielder Emma Kearney has maintained her perfect record when it comes to selection in AFL Media’s Team of the Week.
With one round remaining in the home and away season, Kearney is the only player in the competition to have been named in the Team of the Week six times.
The 28-year-old was one of the best afield in last weekend’s loss to GWS, picking up 22 disposals, taking four marks and laying eight tackles.
She leads the league for total disposals (117) and metres gained (2630) after six rounds, and is third for clearances (27).
Fellow midfielder Ellie Blackburn has appeared in the Team of the Week on three occasions so far this season.
