Western Bulldogs forward Aaron Naughton has accepted a $2000 fine from the AFL Match Review Officer for striking West Coast’s Will Schofield.
Naughton was reported for the strike during the fourth quarter of the Bulldogs’ loss to the Eagles in Perth, with the incident assessed as intentional conduct with low impact and body contact.
The incident was classified as a $3000 sanction as a first offence, with Naughton able to accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.
