Ruckman Tim English has accepted a $2,000 sanction from the AFL Match Review Officer (MRO).

English was charged with striking Collingwood’s Jack Crisp during the second quarter of Sunday afternoon’s match at Marvel Stadium.

Based on the available evidence, the MRO assessed the incident as careless conduct with low impact and high contact.

It was classified as a $3,000 sanction as a first offence, and English was able to accept a $2,000 fine with an early plea.
