The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation are celebrating International Women’s Day 2019, through the ‘More Powerful Together’ event on Thursday 7th March 2019.
Held at Bulldogs heartland Victoria University Whitten Oval, the free event will include a panel discussion surrounding gender equity, before a kick-to-kick session on the oval alongside Western Bulldogs staff.
Guests will hear from a panel including Western Bulldogs General Manager of Women's Football Debbie Lee, Paul Zappa (Founder of Nirodah), Karen Jackson (Director of the VU Moondani Balluk Indigenous Academic Unit) and keynote speaker Tasneem Chopra (cross-cultural leader and change-maker).
In the spirit of the theme ‘We are more powerful together’, the event will be delivered in collaboration with Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, The Western Bulldogs Football Club, Victoria University, Maribyrnong City Council and Women’s Health West.
The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation encourages all members of the community to come along. No skill or athletic ability required, just comfy shoes!
