The Western Bulldogs VFLW side will be looking to get back on the winners list, when they take on reigning premiers Hawthorn this Saturday at VU Whitten Oval.

AFLW defender Lauren Spark will run out for the Dogs, while captain Mickayla Ward and Ellie Gavalas return to the side. Ange Gogos (rest), Julia Austin (hamstring) and Lauren Dundon make way for the trio.

The fifth placed Bulldogs fell to Collingwood by 74-points, last Saturday at Morwell Recreation Reserve, while Hawthorn suffered a three-point loss to St Kilda at Box Hill City Oval.

This week, VFL and VFLW Clubs will play in AFL Victoria and the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation’s Love the Game round. From 27 to 30 June 2019, elite and community football clubs across the state will unite in our love of everything that makes footy great. During the Love the Game round, we’re aiming to create awareness and encourage community discussion about the normalisation of gambling through the exposure of young people to sports betting advertising.
