Marcus Bontempelli has been leapfrogged by Carlton’s Patrick Cripps at the top of the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year leaderboard after round five.
Bontempelli was the only Bulldog among the votes in the loss to the Blues on Sunday, receiving one to take his season tally to 35.
Cripps collected seven votes to move to 36 for the season, and lead the competition.
It was all Carlton in the voting.
Key forward Harry McKay was adjudged best afield by both coaches, receiving 10 votes, with Cripps and fellow midfielder Sam Petrevski-Seton each receiving seven.
Zac Fisher (four) and Lachie Plowman (one) also featured for the Blues.
