Key numbers from Friday's 21-point win over Carlton at Etihad Stadium.

1. The Dogs went inside 50 12 times for nine scoring shots; going into the first break with 4.5 on the board.  It was their second highest scoring term of the season behind the 5.3 posted against the Swans in Round 4.

2. There was a clear difference in game-style deployed on Friday night with the Dogs moving the ball by hand (208) more than by foot (187).  The Blues kicked the ball two more times than the Dogs but had 58 less handballs.

3. A three goal to one second term saw the Dogs go into halftime with a 23-point lead, and Marcus Bontempelli was the standout.  He had 11 possessions, including six contested, two inside 50s and two score involvements.

4. Jack Macrae’s remain the Dogs’ most prolific ball-winner after his 32-touch performance on Friday.  It was the fifth time in six games he had 30 or more.  His 184 total disposals has him 27 ahead of Matt Suckling in second place, and 29 ahead of Toby McLean in third.

5. The Dogs were again the youngest team in the League in Round 6.  The average age (22.9) was almost two years behind Carlton, and average games played (59.8) was 14 behind the Blues, almost a full season’s difference.
