Marcus Bontempelli has risen to eighth place in the the Schick AFL Player Ratings after his three goal performance against Carlton on the weekend, the highest ranking ever recorded for someone under 21.
The Ratings take into account a player's past 40 games, meaning he only just reached the number of games necessary to make an accurate judgement of a player.
Bontempelli is averaging a tick over 18 disposals a game in 2016 and has kicked five goals from his four games.
With 466.4 points, Vice-Captain Easton Wood is the highest ranked player in the League amongst small-medium defenders, and defender Marcus Adams is ahead of Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish atop of the leader board for first year players.
Bontemeplli is joined by Wood, Jake Stringer, Luke Dahlhaus and Robert Murphy in the top 50.
