Bowel cancer is more common than you might think; an estimated 17,000 Australians will be diagnosed this year alone – that’s the equivalent of one third of Etihad Stadium when it’s at capacity.
National bowel cancer awareness charity, The Jodi Lee Foundation will launch its inaugural #iknowsome1 campaign, during this week’s clash against Carlton. #iknowsome1 aims to raise awareness of the prevalence of bowel cancer and highlight the importance of early detection. If you know someone with bowel cancer, you can join AFL greats supporting the campaign on www.iknowsome1.com.au simply by posting your photo and/or story on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #iknowsome1 before or after the game. The Cheer Squad will only have 200 seats allocated for Cheer Squad Members in Aisle 1 and they will be on a first come first served basis.
