The Western Bulldogs have added four players to their squad ahead of Easter Sunday night’s clash with St Kilda.

As confirmed earlier, captain Marcus Bontempelli will return to the line-up for the first time this season.

The 29-year-old needed to get through Thursday’s main training before he could be deemed available, which he did in front of adoring fans in an open training session at Mission Whitten Oval.

Bontempelli has been named in the centre.

Oskar Baker, Jedd Busslinger and Harvey Gallagher have been added to the extended interchange bench, alongside Luke Cleary, Sam Davidson, Josh Dolan, Cooper Hynes and Ryley Sanders.

The only confirmed out at this stage is James Harmes (foot).

The squad will be trimmed to a team of 23 players tomorrow at 5pm AEST.

The Dogs will host the Saints on Easter Sunday night at Marvel Stadium, with the first bounce at 7:20pm AEST.

The two sides will also play off for the Barker-Whitten Challenge Plate, which the Dogs currently hold following a 60-point win last year.

In: Bontempelli, Baker, Busslinger, Gallagher
Out: Harmes (foot)
