Christmas at the Kennel is back for another year.

On Monday 16 December, the Bulldogs’ faithful are invited to join us at Mission Whitten Oval for an open training with some extra Christmas cheer.

Watch the team, along with our new recruits, hit the track for a pre-Christmas training session before you get a photo with Santa and stock up on presents from the Bulldogs Shop.

There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, with footy inflatables, face painting, food from ALFA Café and giveaways.

It’s also the perfect time to sign up for a 2025 Membership as we get ready to celebrate 100 years in the VFL/AFL.

Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet some of your favourite players as they stick around post-training for a snap and sign session along the fence.

We are expecting extreme heat on Monday afternoon with a current forecast of 38 degrees. Please check and prepare for the conditions accordingly.

There is shade and free water available at the venue, but please don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and drink bottle.

Date: Monday 16 December
Time: 3:30pm-6pm AEDT
Where: Mission Whitten Oval, West Footscray

CALDplay Wishing Tree

To celebrate the season of giving, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation are inviting our wonderful community to help spread some joy to those in need by donating a gift to our CALDplay Wishing Tree located at Mission Whitten Oval.

The CALDplay program provides sporting opportunities for newly arrived migrant and refugee people, aged 7-13, living in Melbourne's West, who are experiencing significant financial hardship or challenges.

Get into the festive spirit this holiday season and leave a gift under the CALDplay Wishing Tree in the reception of Mission Whitten Oval by Monday 16 December.
