To celebrate the season of giving, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation are inviting our wonderful community to help spread some joy to those in need by donating a gift to our CALDplay Wishing Tree located at Mission Whitten Oval.
The CALDplay program provides sporting opportunities for newly arrived migrant and refugee people, aged 7-13, living in Melbourne's West, who are experiencing significant financial hardship or challenges.
Get into the festive spirit this holiday season and leave a gift under the CALDplay Wishing Tree in the reception of Mission Whitten Oval by Monday 16 December.
Some ideas for gifts for children aged 7-13 years old include:
- Children’s books
- Toys (no electronics)
- Clothing
- Stationary
- Sporting equipment
If you plan to wrap your gift, please use a removable tag/label outlining the recommended age and description of the gift.
Please note: To ensure hygiene and safety, all items must be brand new and in an unused condition. Toys must be unopened and in manufacturers’ packaging or with tags attached and must meet the Australian Safety Standards.
Can’t donate a gift in person? You can make a direct, tax deductable donation online to support the ongoing work of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation here.
Supporting more than 5000 people in Melbourne’s West and Ballarat, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation delivers life-changing programs and services to help people succeed and thrive in their communities.
