What it means

The Bulldogs will be looking to continue on an upwards trend when they meet Port on their home deck. Currently on a two-game winning streak – not counting the bye week off – a victory against the Power could see them not only jump into the top eight, but stay there by the end of the round (pending other results).

Who to watch

All eyes will be on Rory Lobb this Saturday – mostly to see where he lines up on-field. The 31-year-old was a standout in defence against the Roos, collecting 16 disposals, eight marks and 12 intercepts, with the general consensus believing he will again head down there against the Power.

Troops on the way

The Bulldogs have managed to cut their injury list almost in half since the bye, welcoming back Nick Coffield, James Harmes, Luke Cleary and Jordan Croft via the VFL. Aaron Naughton also made his return against North, while Jason Johannisen and Alex Keath are tracking well in their rehab journeys.
