For a third successive season, the Western Bulldogs have broken their all-time membership record, reaching 57,151 to date in 2024, surpassing last year’s record of 56,302.

Off the back of unwavering loyalty, the red, white and blue pack has gathered again this season to achieve another significant milestone in the history of the Bulldogs, as the Club now sets its sights on 60,000 members.

The achievement has been underpinned by an existing fanbase who have been joined by a raft of new members that have signed up during the current campaign, resulting in a seven percent increase on last year.

Alongside the landmark membership number, the Bulldogs faithful have also come out in force this year, headlined by the 50,144 crowd who attended our Round 5 match against Essendon, the largest AFL crowd at Marvel Stadium in over a decade.

Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains praised the Club’s members for their commitment and continued support of the red, white and blue.

“This is a milestone that we’ve reached together with our dedicated and passionate Bulldogs family,” Bains said.

“Our members are the lifeblood of our club and their unwavering support pushes our players and staff to new heights each day, particularly as we strive for sustained success on and off the field."

Club President Kylie Watson-Wheeler spoke of the significance of the achievement and encouraged fans to sign up to be a part of a historic push towards 60k.

“Breaking our membership record for a third straight season speaks to the commitment and loyalty of our fans, with the coveted 60,000 milestone well and truly in our sights,” Watson-Wheeler said.

“As the AFL season reaches its climax, the AFLW campaign begins and with the impending completion of Mission Whitten Oval’s redevelopment, there is no better time to get on board and become part of the red, white and blue.”
