Vice-captain Tom Liberatore has broken the Club record for all-time contested possessions.
The 31-year-old needed seven on Sunday to eclipse Matthew Boyd’s previous record, instead collecting 11 in the 76-point win to take him to 2664 and counting.
His greatest output to date came in round 10, 2013, where he won 24 contested possessions against Port Adelaide.
Liberatore is still a fair way off current league leader Patrick Dangerfield’s 4263 career tally, but could well and truly set a new Bulldogs’ benchmark if he continues to average 12.16 a game.
Jack Macrae (348) currently has the most contested possessions in a single season by a Bulldog.
