James O’Donnell and Bailey Dale are continuing to build their loads in the lead up to the Club's round 1 clash against Melbourne at the MCG.
After suffering a rolled ankle in the first pre-season game against the Hawks, O’Donnell completed a strong training session over the weekend and will be assessed to play in the VFL practise game this weekend.
Bailey Dale continues to recover from a tight hamstring and will be tested during the main sessions over the next fortnight.
Laith Vandermeer suffered concussion during the recent trip to Tasmania and is the 12-day protocol period.
Ryan Gardner has some foot soreness and is expected to miss the opening rounds of the season.
Jordan Croft (shin splints) and Aiden O’Driscoll (concussion) remain in the rehab group heading into the opening round of the season.
