The Western Bulldogs’ three nominees for the AFLPA AFLW Most Valuable Player award have been revealed as Ellie Blackburn, Elisabeth Georgostathis and Isabelle Pritchard.
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award is a player-voted honour, which recognises the players’ player for the 2023 NAB AFLW Season.
It marks first-time honours for Georgostathis and Pritchard, and the eighth time for Blackburn – who has been nominated as one of three players every season.
The remainder of AFLPA awards nominees (Best Captain, Best First Year player and Most Courageous player) will be announced on Monday 27 November.
The overall winners will be revealed on Tuesday 28 November.
The AFLW MVP Award is a two-part voting process. In stage one, every player is asked to nominate three teammates they deem worthy of the AFLW MVP award.
In stage two, players are asked to vote for their MVP from the list of three nominees of every club, however cannot vote for their teammates.
