The Western Bulldogs will field another debutant this weekend, handing train-on player Dom Carbone her maiden red, white and guernsey.

Carbone is one of three changes for the round nine clash against West Coast, with Dom Carruthers and Alice Edmonds also returning to the line-up.

Carbone tied for the Club’s 2023 VFLW Best and Fairest honours after an impressive state-league campaign, averaging 19 disposals from 13 games to also be named in the 2023 VFLW Team of the Year.

She previously played six AFLW games for the Hawks in season seven.

The trio come into the side in replace of Maggie Gorham (Covid), Elizabeth Snell (leg) and Jorja Borg (omitted).

Train-on players Borg, Jaimi Tabb and Sarah Skinner have been named as emergencies, given all remaining 20 available AFLW-listed players are already selected.

Fox Footy will broadcast the game live, with the first bounce at 5.05pm AEDT (2.05pm AWST).

The match will be the Bulldogs’ final interstate trip of the home-and-away season, before heading into Pride Round at VU Whitten Oval next Saturday.

Tickets for the Dogs-Eagles clash are available to purchase here.
