The Western Bulldogs have again successfully delivered the Performance Leadership course, this time with a strong AFLW focus, to a sell-out cohort of industry leaders in Melbourne.

Run over two days in partnership with Victoria University, individuals travelled far and wide to enhance their personal and professional development, before attending the Bulldogs’ round six AFLW Match-Day function to further network.

Participants exposed to three ‘Masterclasses’ in this delivery, featuring Bulldogs AFLW head coach Nathan Burke, former GM of Women’s Football and now AFL National Women and Girls Action Plan Lead Debbie Lee, 2016 Bulldogs AFL Premiership Captain Easton Wood, and Club President Kylie Watson-Wheeler.

In addition to these ‘Masterclasses’, which involved keynote addresses, a Q&A panel and facilitated conversations, participants explored their own styles of leadership, communication, and feedback strategies, and learnt skills to influence and motivator others to work towards common team and business goals.

Attendees said the material was easy to understand and implement, while others enjoyed connecting and engaging in constructive discussions with other industry leaders.

All guest speakers were extremely generous with their time and sharing of personal experiences that shaped them as leader and help course participants continue their leaderships journeys.

Performance Leadership will return in 2024. Find up-to-date information at education.westernbulldogs.com.au and express your interest to be the first to hear of future dates.
