The Adelaide Crows have made three changes for the clash against the Dogs. Key defender Kyle Hartigan has succumbed to a hamstring injury and will miss along with along with Jono Beech and Hugh Greenwood.

Dynamic forward Charlie Cameron headlines the inclusions as well as veteran midfielder Scott Thompson and Andy Otten.

In defence the Crows are a settled unit led by key defenders Daniel Talia and Jake Lever. Talia has the ability to lockdown the opposition’s best forward whilst still having a presence in the air. Lever’s intercept marking is a standout and is a player that must be made accountable.

Luke Brown is a versatile defender that can play on a variety of types ranging from small forwards to resting mids. Rebounding halfbacks Rory Laird and Brodie Smith provide dash out of defence with their speed vital. Both Laird and Smith are key cogs in the Crows ball movement with their willingness to break the lines seen as a threat.

In the middle Rory Sloane is a tough onballer who is strong around stoppages with his ability to win clearances a feature. Sloane is well supported on the inside by Brad and Matt Crouch who are both a presence at the contest and cannot be given space at stoppages.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs is important with his tap work a key to controlling the midfield battle. Jacobs is equally as comfortable around the ground and at times acts as an extra onballer.

Wingman Rory Atkins gives the midfield a different look with his combination of speed and ability to run and carry an underrated component of the Crows.

In the forward line skipper Taylor Walker leads from the front with his marking and lethal right foot making him a danger for opposition defences. Walker is equally adept at setting teammates up with his field kicking also a weapon.

Small forward Eddie Betts is always is a threat both in the air and on the ground. Betts’ impact at ground level is complimented by fellow small forward Charlie Cameron. Throughout 2017 Cameron has split his time between half forward and the midfield and is another to watch.

Josh Jenkins is a strong marking option that primarily plays up forward although may support Jacobs in the ruck throughout parts of the game.
