More than 100 of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s partners and stakeholders came together in July for a special mid-year event at Marvel Stadium.

The Foundation relies on support from government, partners (including major partner WorkSafe Victoria), and other important stakeholders, to successfully facilitate its impactful suite of programs in Melbourne’s west, and the western corridor of Victoria.

The mid-year event was an opportunity to acknowledge the support of the Foundation’s allies, and to give an update on ongoing work and future plans.

Guests were given an update on the Whitten Oval precinct redevelopment and how it will provide opportunities for the Foundation, it was highlighted how much impact the Foundation’s programs have on the community, demonstrating the value of its partners’ investment.

A highlight of the event was a panel discussion, facilitated by ABC presenter and Foundation ambassador, Michael Rowland.

Three participants of Foundation programs - Meh Poe, Sarah Rylands and Robert Camilleri - were part of the panel, talking to their positive experiences in the CALDPlay, Youth Leadership Project and Sons of the West programs.

Members of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s Board of Directors were in attendance, along with Bulldogs’ CEO Ameet Bains and Foundation General Manager – Community & Government Relations, Kashif Bouns.
