Hayden Crozier will return to the action in Saturday afternoon’s VFL clash against Box Hill.
The defender has been sidelined since mid-June with a hamstring complaint, passing a fitness test this week to return to availability.
Crozier will begin in the back pocket, alongside youngster Jedd Busslinger and stalwart Nathan Drummond.
Senior-listed Bulldogs Harvey Gallagher and Ryan Gardner have also been cleared to play and named in the Footscray side, marking the only three changes for the match.
Robbie McComb (concussion), Mitch Hannan (Achilles) and Charlie MacIsaac are set to miss.
The four AFL emergencies in Oskar Baker, Buku Khamis, Luke Cleary and Jordon Sweet have also been listed in the ‘Scray line-up.
Skipper Lachie Sullivan will have the opportunity to continue his stellar season so far, starting in the centre, while the side will boast plenty of experience with 12 AFL-listed players included.
The Bulldogs will be looking to keep their eight-game winning streak alive when they meet the Hawks at Box Hill City Oval tomorrow afternoon.
The Dogs currently sit in seventh position on the ladder – needing to finish between sixth and 10th to play in the VFL Wildcard Round, or higher to secure a spot in the 2023 VFL Finals Series.
The first bounce will be at 2.05pm, with the game to be live-streamed via afl.com.au/vfl.
Score updates will be available via @FootscrayVFL on Twitter.
