The Bulldogs have made four changes ahead of a crunch clash against Richmond at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.

Liam Jones will return for the first time in two months after severely injuring his arm during a victory over North Melbourne earlier in the year.

Jones will be accompanied in the backline by James O’Donnell, who comes into the line-up after suffering concussion in Sydney.

Ed Richards becomes the third defender to return, recovering from illness last week, while Rhylee West has been elevated into the 22 after starting as sub last week in Ballarat.

Josh Bruce comes out of the team due to his ACL injury, while Alex Keath will also miss with concussion.

Ryan Gardner comes out with injury and won’t face the Tigers, while Luke Cleary has been omitted for the fixture.

The emergencies for the fixture are Oskar Baker, Buku Khamis, Arthur Jones and Jordon Sweet, with the substitute to be named an hour before bounce.

The Western Bulldogs return to Friday night football to face Richmond at Marvel Stadium.

The Bulldogs will celebrate Retro Round once again, with the team to reprise the ‘Diamond Dog’ guernsey design against Richmond in round 21.

Last worn as the Club’s away guernsey in the 1995 and 1996 seasons, the iconic design received the people’s vote late last year.

The match will begin at 7.50pm at Marvel Stadium and broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
