The Western Bulldogs have announced a partnership extension with CoinSpot for a further three years.

Australia’s number one Cryptocurrency exchange will remain as a premier partner of the Club’s AFL and AFLW teams until at least the end of 2026.

As well as continuing as a premier partner, CoinSpot will occupy the back of the Bulldogs’ AFL and AFLW guernseys, and will be represented on the Club’s VFL and VFLW team jumpers.

Established in 2013, CoinSpot is an Australian cryptocurrency exchange and is the country’s most popular platform to buy and trade Bitcoin and over 300 other cryptocurrencies.

Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains lauded the extension of an important partnership that reaches across the entire Club.

“We’re thrilled that CoinSpot has extended its commitment to the Western Bulldogs, continuing an exciting collaboration with a progressive and innovative company that is creating great experiences for the Bulldogs community,” Bains said.

“The CoinSpot team has displayed great loyalty to our football club since first committing in mid-2021, and we’ve achieved some great outcomes together.

“Two years ago, the Bulldogs became the first major sports team in Australia to engage a Cryptocurrency exchange as a premier partner, with CoinSpot’s significant contribution to our men’s and women’s programs marking their strong contribution across our whole Club.”

CoinSpot’s Head of Marketing Ray Osthmuller stated that the extension was great to achieve for the company and industry as a whole.

“We’re excited to extend our sponsorship with the Bulldogs in this multi-year deal. This ongoing partnership allows us to continue connecting with footy fans & moving the crypto space forward in Australia,” Osthmuller said.
