All-time favourite Bulldog Brad Johnson has joined the greats of the red, white and blue to be elevated to Legend status at the Club’s Hall of Fame night on Saturday.
The beloved utility was a match-winner in any position that he played, with an innate ability to hit the scoreboard across his 364-game career.
An inspirational leader, Johnson captained the Bulldogs for five seasons between 2006-2010, including three consecutive preliminary finals during that period.
Over 17 seasons, the smiling assassin kicked 558 goals and claimed three Charles Sutton Medals as the best and fairest player in the red, white and blue.
Johnson has the record for most All-Australian jackets with six and represented Victoria three times in State Football.
The popular teammate will forever be remembered as a Bulldogs legend and now sits among the greats as one himself.
Established in 2010, the Footscray-Western Bulldogs Hall of Fame honours those whose involvement and contribution to the Club has been significant, memorable and worthy of celebration.
