Western Bulldogs duo Tim English and Caleb Daniel have polled coaches’ votes in round 12 of the AFLCA’s Champion Player of the Year award.
English was deemed the Bulldogs’ best afield, earning eight votes for a dominant display in the loss to Geelong.
The emerging ruck won 30 hit-outs to go with 27 disposals, 12 marks, eight tackles and four clearances.
Daniel received five votes for his efforts, following a 35-disposal, six-mark, five-tackle and one-goal performance.
Skipper Marcus Bontempelli has slipped out of the top five but remains in the top 10, with 44 total votes.
Port Adelaide’s Zak Butters and Collingwood’s Nick Daicos share the lead with 63 votes each.
