The Western Bulldogs extended their stay on the winners list after defeating Collingwood VFLW by 16 points at ETU Stadium on Saturday.

In the second week of wearing the Club’s Indigenous guernseys in correspondence with the AFL’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round, the Bulldogs led from start to finish in the 6.4 (40) to 3.6 (24) victory.

The opening term saw an arm wrestle for possession, with Emmalyn Nekrep launching a beautiful goal to open the scoring for the match.

The Dogs' strong start continued with Jaimi Tabb next to slot a major from the pocket to give the her side a 13-point lead heading into the first change.

The Tabb talent continued into the second, as she bagged two-in-a-row to become the match-leading goal-scorer before halftime.

A 30-point lead progressed in the third quarter by courtesy of Mali McLeod and Tabb again, recording two goals in two minutes for the home side.

Despite the visitor’s increased momentum in the final quarter of the game, the Bulldogs victory was sealed.

Tabb was outstanding, recording four goals from 14 touches, while Jorja Borg continued her impressive defensive efforts for the season with 36 hit-outs.

Dominque Carbone was right at home in the centre, winning five clearances and 22 disposals.

In line with her efforts was Nekrep and Ellie Bishop collecting 22 disposals respectively, with Bishop recording an additional six clearances.

Tallia Pulcino was next to impress, landing eight tackles, with Sarah Skinner close behind recording seven tackles and 19 touches.

The Bulldogs look to continue their winning streak when they face Port Melbourne on Saturday 10:30am at ETU Stadium.
